How to care for the matcha kit?
To ensure the longevity and effectiveness of each accessory, proper care is essential. Here are the key guidelines, item by item:

| Bamboo spoon (chashaku) | Dry-clean with a clean cloth. Do not wet, to avoid warping. |
| Chasen stand (kusenaoshi) | Rinse with lukewarm water and dry carefully. Store in a dry place. |
| Glass | Dishwasher-safe, but hand washing recommended to prolong its shine. Avoid thermal shocks. |
| Glass straw | Rinse immediately after use. Use a fine cleaning brush to clean the inside. Dishwasher-safe. |

Yes. The glass is borosilicate, designed for hot drinks. The removable sleeve insulates your hand.
For liquids above 70°C, let them cool slightly before closing the lid to avoid pressure.

It slips around the glass and comes off easily, it isn't glued on. You can remove it for rinsing or reposition it however you like.

Real borosilicate glass, BPA-free, odourless, taste-neutral. The straw included is also glass. The lid is BPA-free food-grade plastic.

We don't recommend it: the dishwasher damages the faux-leather sleeve and can weaken the glass over the long term.
A rinse with lukewarm water and a soft cloth is enough and takes 30 seconds.
